  1.         Running MicroCook under Windows(TM) 3.0 or 3.1 
  2.  
  3.              MicroCook will run fine in Windows. To install MicroCook in
  4.         Windows follow the guide lines below. 
  5.  
  6.         WARNING! If you are running MicroCook in a window (ALT-ENTER),
  7.         DISABLE (set to 0) the screen saver in Setup. The graphics modes
  8.         used by Windows and MCDOODLE.EXE are NOT compatible. When
  9.         MicroCook run in a full DOS window, the screen saver work fine.
  10.         
  11.         "Click" mean to place the mouse cursor on the item and press the
  12.         left mouse button.
  13.      
  14.         1.   Load Windows (of course), and click on the window group  
  15.              where you want MicroCook. 
  16.         2.   Click on File on the Menu bar
  17.         3.   Click on New
  18.         4.   The "Program Item" should have a black dot in the circle on
  19.              the left side, if not, click in the circle by "Program 
  20.              Item". Next click on the OK button.
  21.         5.   Place the cursor in "Description" box, and type in the name
  22.              you want to appear in Windows (MicroCook?).
  23.         6.   Move to the "Command line" box and type: MCOOK.EXE
  24.         7.   Next move to the "Working directory" box and type in the 
  25.              name of the directory where MicroCook is located.
  26.              (C:\MCOOK?) 
  27.         8.   Click on the "Change Icon" button.
  28.         9.   You will now see a message stating that there are no icons
  29.              available for the specific file. Click on the OK button.
  30.         10.  Click on the "Browse" button in the next window. In the 
  31.              lower right side of the window, the directories are listed.
  32.              Click on "C:\" at the top of the list. Now all the 
  33.              directories in the root directory will be displayed. Move 
  34.              the scroll bar down so you see the name of the MicroCook 
  35.              directory, and click on the directory name.
  36.         11.  You should now see the name of 3 icon files, MCOOK1.ICO, 
  37.              MCOOK2.ICO and MCOOK3.ICO.
  38.         12.  Click on one of the icon files. The icon will now be 
  39.              displayed in the lower left corner of the Property Window 
  40.              you are in. If you want to see what the other 2 icons look 
  41.              like, repeat from step 8 above. Click on the OK button when
  42.              you have the icon you want to use displayed.
